The Hertfordshire Classical Guitar Society was founded in 2018 to celebrate performance on the classical guitar and to fill our pupils, as well as the communities, need for regular performance opportunities. Since then it has been a host for many international recitals with performers invited from Europe, South America, Asia and the Middle East. Although we hold recitals the main function of the group is to provide free performance opportunities to the community through meetings. These take place three times a year and feature student performances followed by a short, informal, professional recital with new artists invited every meeting.

 

The society meetings and concerts are all free to attend and we take a retiring collection to help fund future meetings.
